Teacher Leadership

As teachers we are considered the leaders of our classrooms.  However, our leadership role can extend beyond the classroom.  As we get older and more experienced it can be important to pursue administrative roles in education.  We would then be able to see the issues firsthand and be better suited to address them when we have the power to do so.  Even if there was no interest in being anything but a teacher, our voices can be heard through active participation in extracurricular school related matters.
